Security designed into the architecture.
Cybersecurity is not a single product. It is a combination of network architecture, access control, protection, visibility, backup and operational discipline working together.

Protection starts with understanding the environment.
We consider who needs access, which systems carry sensitive information and where a disruption could affect operations. That context shapes the controls.
Prevention is only part of the strategy.
Backup, recovery and defined responsibilities support a response when prevention is not enough. Security decisions should account for day-to-day use as well as incidents.
Make access a business decision.
Build an inventory of users, devices, administrator accounts and external support connections. For each one, establish the systems it needs and who approves changes. Separate routine work from administration, review accounts when people change roles, and include remote access in the same process. Controls work better when ownership is explicit.
Plan for the day a control fails.
Define who can isolate an affected device, who contacts application providers and how the business communicates while systems are unavailable. Keep recovery dependencies and essential contact details accessible outside the affected environment. Review these decisions after significant system changes, and use exercises to reveal practical gaps before an incident.

Cybersecurity
FAQ.
Practical details to help you plan your next step.
Is a firewall enough to protect a business?
A firewall addresses part of the environment. Identity controls, endpoint maintenance, appropriate access, recovery capability and staff procedures also matter. The priorities depend on your systems and the consequences of disruption.
Can you work with our existing security products?
Existing tools can be reviewed for coverage, configuration, licensing and operational ownership. The aim is to identify gaps and overlaps, then define which controls should remain, change or be introduced.
How should remote support access be handled?
Remote support should use approved accounts, appropriate authentication and only the permissions needed. Access ownership and removal procedures should be agreed, with visibility into administrative activity appropriate to the environment.
Does an implementation guarantee compliance?
No individual technology installation guarantees compliance. Technical scope can support your requirements, while legal interpretation, organizational policies and any formal assessment remain separate responsibilities.
